Cadence Pro Golf collects no personal information whatsoever. Everything the app stores — your settings, custom cadences, and session history — lives on your device and never leaves it. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party services. If you grant microphone access for optional voice control, the audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech framework and is never transmitted anywhere.

What we collect
Nothing that identifies you.
Here is everything the app stores, and where it lives:

All of this data stays on your phone. It is not backed up to any server we own or control. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud, Apple's iCloud backup may include these app preferences — that is Apple's system, not ours, and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If you delete the app, all of this data is gone. We don't have a copy.
Third-party services
None.
Cadence Pro Golf does not use:
- Analytics SDKs (no Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, etc.)
- Crash reporting services (no Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
- Advertising networks (no AdMob, no Meta SDK, etc.)
- Cloud databases or APIs
- Any third-party SDK that phones home
The app is entirely self-contained. The only network-adjacent thing it does is process your in-app purchase through Apple's StoreKit — which is Apple's own payment infrastructure, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We receive a transaction receipt; we never see your payment details.
Microphone and Speech permissions
The app may request access to your microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition framework. Both are optional — you can deny them with no loss of core functionality.
What these permissions are for: An optional voice control feature that lets you say commands like "start" or "stop" without touching your phone. This is useful if your phone is in your bag.
What happens to the audio:
- Speech recognition is performed on-device using Apple's Speech framework (
SFSpeechRecognizer). - Audio is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted anywhere.
- We cannot access your microphone without iOS explicitly showing you the permission prompt and you tapping "Allow."
What happens if you deny: The voice control feature is disabled. Everything else — tempo engine, presets, session history, Pro features — works exactly as normal.
You can revoke microphone and speech permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and Speech Recognition.
The landing page
This pre-launch landing page (cadenceprogolf.com) uses Mailerlite to handle email signups. If you submit your email address to be notified at launch, Mailerlite stores that address (and the country detected from your IP) so we can email you when the app ships. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. We do not share your email with anyone, and we don't send marketing emails outside of the launch notification you signed up for. Mailerlite's privacy practices are governed by Mailerlite's privacy policy.
Children
Cadence Pro Golf is rated 4+ on the App Store and is appropriate for all ages. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, children or adults.
International users
Australian users: We are an Australian business and take our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) seriously. In practice, complying with the APPs is easy when you collect no data: there is nothing to mishandle, share, or secure beyond what Apple already secures on your device.
European users (GDPR): We process no personal data and have no lawful basis to declare because there is nothing to declare. If you have a question about your rights under the GDPR, you are welcome to contact us — but the honest answer is that we hold nothing about you.
All other users: Same story everywhere. No data, no problem.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what the app collects (for example, adding opt-in analytics in a future version), we will:
- Update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date at the top.
- Note the change in the App Store release notes for that version.
- If the change is material, show an in-app notice before the new version activates the feature.
We will not retroactively change what we collect for existing users without clear, explicit opt-in consent.
